Australia Floriade Festival
In September, when the fall comes, we can see autumn leaves in Korea.
But in another part of the world, people hold a spring flower festival then.
The country is none other than Australia.
Floriade, the largest flower festival in the southern hemisphere, is one of the most famous festivals in Australia.
The festival usually lasts 30 days in Canberra, the capital of Australia.
It consists of a Floriade where you can enjoy flowers in full bloom in the city and a NightFest that shines lights on beautiful flowers at night.
This year, the festival is scheduled to open from September 12 to October 11 under the theme “Floriade: Reimagined.”
However, it will use podcasts and videos to observe the physical distancing due to the Coronavirus.
Though we can’t visit Floriade in person, let’s look forward to participating in it online.
