Sign Language
Have you ever heard of sign language?
Sign language means the language used by people who have difficulty listening or speaking.
First of all, it is a method of communication.
It consists of signals such as hand movements, facial expressions, and gestures.
Also, it has a different grammatical system from the speech language.
Finally, each country uses different sign language just as Korean is used in Korea and English is used in the United States.
In Korea, for example, when you say “hello” in sign language, sweep your left arm with your right palm and lower your fists toward the floor in front of your chest.
Meanwhile, in the United States, you place your thumb-folded hand on your forehead and then reach forward.
Recently, sign language has been used in cheering campaigns to express gratitude and respect for medical staff in Korea, and more people become interested in it.
Why don’t you pay attention to sign language and learn it?
